Our mathematical research on the structure of networks has led to the development of new general purpose metrics that can summarize the behavior of networks in general. This software (in both JAVA and Mathematica versions) is available for beta testing over a broad spectrum of networks from internet anomaly tracking to electrical grids and to financial networks.
Although invisible to the user, the underlying software uses applications of Lie groups, algebras, and monoids; continuous Markov transformations; and generalized entropy functions to reduce the connection matrices of large networks into summary metrics that can be used for network tracking and monitoring.
