During Emergencies, IRIS Delivers
The Internet-Routed Information System (IRIS), developed by ASG team members for the South Carolina Emergency Preparedness Division, proves its reliability during times of need. During the last great threat to state public safety - Hurricane Floyd - IRIS successfully managed several hundred requests for assistance and almost one thousand messages during preparation and recovery, including disastrous inland flooding.
